LI: to identify the values of individual numerals.
Today for Maths we learned about Place value worth. This week for maths we have been learning about
place values and numerals. The tasks had to be done on a google doc. The google doc had Place values up to hundred thousand and more. Much grater than had to add another colum and make up to milions and bilions. The task was a bit trickey because after you have added up the number on the board that Miss Morison wrote down. So whatever number is on the board we decided what number goes in witch. My first number was 431 - 4 goes in the hundreds , 3 goes in the tens and 1 goes into the ones colum. On the right hand side it says "Questions"the Questions are 

How many groups of 100 in the whole number?

there is 4 groups in the hundreds.

How many groups of 10 in the whole number?

there is 43 groups in tens.

when you split up 400 take away the 4 and add the tens up , There are 4 hundreds and 3 tens the add them together you answer would be 43. There was different numbers. Same questions. After i did the H T O , O moved on doing the thousands.

The number for HT,TT,T,H,T,O it was 653124 it goes like this. 6 blocks goes in the HT the 5 goes in the ten thousands , 3 goes in the thousands , 1 goes into Hundreds , 2 goes into the tens and the 4 goes into the ones. It was pretty hard because i haven't did place value for hundred thousands all the way down. This task i did by myself.
