Writing / 20 Verbs

LI: Identify verb tenses.
This week for writing we did another session of learning about verb tenses. The verb tenses were , Future perfect,present perfect and past perfect. Me and my partner Charlize needed to come up with 20 verbs and do 7 videos of them. All of our verbs didn't have too have videos. Our last one witch was our 7th video , We took a photo of Charlize smelling the red flowers by Room 4. The rest of the words just needed photos. The tenses had to be used in the video so people know what tense we are doing.

Verb Words

LI. To identify verb tenses. This week for writing we had to create a slide with 20 verb words. Then we had to make a video for each words. We first wrote verb words on the white board and then we had to say the different tense that Mr. Wong asked us to do. We did this is partners. My partner was Farzana. It was a really fun activity to do and I enjoyed it a lot.

Reading / Infer What can you tell?

LI: to infer information.
This week for reading we learned about Inffering. Mr wong gave us an example witch was a picture. We needed to infer from the picture he showed us on the TV. We had to give and share out our ideas to the person next to us on what can you infer from the picture. We inffered that the picture was taken in Samoa because their was a bus that said samoan words on it so we linked other people's ideas onto ours and see of we have the same idea. Our Must do was to infer pictures on the slide that says "What can you tell?" , We had 4 pictures to infer and some of them was pretty hard because other people might have the same ifference. For this task we had to work in partners , My Partner was Andrew we were sharing our ideas so we can help each other out so we can make sure we are on the right track.

Emotive Language

LI: to write informative but emotive paragraphs.

This week for writing we talked about Emotive Languages. In our Poster we had to explain how can Emotive words or Emotive Languages affect other peoples feelings. Emotive Language is a another way of Expressing how you feel in persuasive writing. Emotive Language is a Emotional way also how your. Emotive is to show people how they feel about your statement. I did a box putting in Emotive words to give other people examples what Emotive words make other people feel. I also added pictures that show Emotive.

Persuasive Text | Structers of Persuasive text

LI: to write a persuasive argument.
This week we wrote a Persuasive Agrument about banning Smartphones in France. We had to write the statement then our reasons explanation to back it up. The structre for Persuasive text is O.R.E.O. It stands for Opinion , Reason , Explanation then you have to give another opinion and a reason. So we had to write a argment and record on screencastify using pictures to represent it.

Writing / Persuasive Structure and Language features

This week for our writing we have been learning the structers of a Persuasive writing. The structers of Persuasive writing is OREO Each letter has a heading. O is to give the opinion of what your talking about. R - is to reavel what you have done. E - Explanations. O - is proove your opinion again. I was working on a Google drawing when you have to hightlight words for Simple Present ( Infinitive Tense) , Emotive Words/Devices and Causes and effect. We needed to highlight as much Blue,Yellow,Red on our goggle drawing. The title was "should Children have mobile phone at school?" We had to copy and paste each section into each box. Click
