Activity 3: Flying Fungi [10 points]

Let’s imagine that we tested the air in your classroom and found 7 different kinds of mould. Eek! The cleaner says that it takes 5 days for each mould to be eradicated (removed). If the school had to remove each mould one at a time, how long would it take to remove all the mould from the classroom?

I would multiplie 7 by 5. We would need to times 5 x 7 , 5 x 7 = 35 right. So that is the final answer for this maths problem. The answer for the problem can definitely be 35 because you can time the 7 kind of the mould that possibly be on that wall. Also times it by the 5 weeks to eradicated (remove) the mould.

In the middle of winter it gets really chilly (cold) and we start to often see our walls,falls,ceilings and other scenarios start to get damp. Our walls slightly start to get wet and soft. Its also like common things like to grow like mould and fungi. Mould and fungi would like to to grow on anything but would likely grow more on ceililings when it gets damp (wet and soft).
