3D Shapes

• Explore and describe faces, edges, and corners of 2D and 3D objects
• Make, name and describe polygons and other plane shapes

Today for maths we were talking about 3D shapes and we had to make shapes we made a cube,cylinder,prism,pyramid,Cone,square based pyramid so those were what we were doing for maths we were in a group we had to make all of those 3D shapes and we had to do 6 in a row in our maths group and i was learning about 3D  shapes and how to make them and we had to do this with on one looking at our work no one was to help us at all we were not to work with no one our we had to do it again.

What did you learn: Explore and describe faces, edges, and corners of 2D and 3D objects.I learnt about 3D shapes and 2D shapes. We had to find 3D shapes around the classroom and I choose a Cube and a sphere, I had to explain how many edges,Faces and Vertices my shape has.


How did you learn:I learnt it by finding any 3D shape in our Class and we had to take a photo of it. And then say how many Edges it has how many faces it had and how many vertices it had.
