Commeting | Farzana Inquriy

Today i was commenting on Farzana's blogpost about how cats are a living thing. I watched her group screencastify video and her blogpost blurb. She was talking about all the things cats do and can't do. I have also did a similar blogpost as Farzana showing whitch organizim is living but Farzana's groups chose cats we chose Venus flyrtaps. They had to prove how cats can use MRS GREN. We also used MRS GREN to see how venus flytraps use MRS GREN.

I learnt about safety and being safe online. i was learing about Netiquette , Netiquette is when you be safe online or on social media. As you see i have created a DLO showing youse the rules on how to stay safe online.

Powtoon / How the venus flytrap works?

LI: to prove that a organism is real by using MRS GREN
This week we picked a organism and had to prove that it was a organism or living. My group the Class Clown Crushers picked the Venus Flytrap to prove. We also had to record what we found out. We had to find out how the Venus Flytrap: Moves, Reproduces, Senses, Grows, Respires, Excretes, and gets Nutrition. We all had to prove all of that. We recorded out video onto Powtoons.

Inffering | StoryBoard

LI: Infer from the book.

Today i was creating a storyboared for my reading tasks. We had to talk about inffering in the book boost. I learn't about inffering while i was reading the book. Inffering is when you use the clues from thne story to help make a inference. I also used a google document called T - Chart we had to write all of our inffernce and our evidence.

Comparing Fractions / Whitch one Bigger | Smaller

LI: To compare Fractions of different size.
In my maths group we learned about fractions. We learned whitch one is bigger and smaller. When we make a fraction with the paper the paper gets smaller but the number gets smaller. We used Pie fractions, and bar fractions. Then we had to put as many fractions on the pie fraction and solve whitch is more and less.

Show and Tell: Descriptive Writing

LI: to write a Descriptive scene.
For my writing task we had to write a decritive writing showing and telling the photo. We had a photo to show and tell whats happening and what do we see in the photo. We had to talk about the photo and write down on the box "Show" and "Tell".

Today i commented on chris's blogpost about his Inferring detective. Chris posted his Story Organizer to give is example of what he was working on. Chris gave us brief Blurb what he was doing. I had to ask question and talk about what was interesting from his work.

Kiwi Sport | Rippa Rugby

LI: To use side stepping skills.

I learnt how pass the ball around at Kiwi sport. Mr Ogilvie put us into 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 Teams. 1 had green rippers , 2 Had to get blue rippers. Hamash will always blow his whistle because they might a mistake or a foward pass. People where running and using side stepping skills to help them make a score. I made 3 or 4 tries in my team. Spelman was a really good Rippa rugby played out of our team. Me and Spelman Communicated with each other to pass the ball. I ran fast to the tryline because there was already people close to me getting ready to rip. I finally got 3 or 4 tries for my group, Spelman maybe got 2 or 4. Then we keep swaping around so other teams can VS each other. 3 and 4 were VS. Then after that we talked about when passing to someone that is free. Then Hamsh pronounced the team that was the winner for the day , Team 4 was the winner of the day.

Moari / How to weave a fish

LI: To learn how to weave a paper Fish

This week for maori Whaia Ode read us a book about the Wellington harbour. This week we Whaia Ode taught how to make a Weave fish. Made by watching a video on Youtube. During our lesson we also talked about Martariki. We Used 4 or 2 long or short strips of paper , Inorder for us to fold over,in,out. We had to follow the instructions until we had got the fish.

Writing / Story Organizer

LI:To brainstorm. LI:To write a 18 sentence Narrative.
Today During our normal writing lesson we had to finish our Story organizer writing about Tom the dog that was lost. We had to right a 3 sentence problem in the problem secction. Then we had to go show Mr wong , Mr wong gave us feedback on our learning and told us instead of using that word we can use other words that includes in a narrative. My title was : Will Tom make it home? The title is talking about if Tom will Find a way home or not. We had write the Problem , Events,Solution. AudioRecorder

Compulsary task / Fishbone

LI: To fuction all the Circulartory and respirtory system.
This week we contuined doing the compulsary task for this week. The Class clown crushers worked
hard on this to get us to credits. The three blood vessels are, Veins, Arteries, and the Capillaries. The task we finished was the Fishbone. Also we contined doing the Respiratory system and the circulatory system.

Inference Detectives: Looking for clues

L.I To infer from the text

During this week i have leared about Infering. Infering is when you read between the lines. We had to do a task that incluedes clues to help you make infrences. We had 3 paragraphs to make infrences to " One was about Tom Getting beat up" The other one was about Hannah was a baby And the last one was fred the old man missing his wife watching televison in the night time. One of my infrences was really bad but i also tried be more understanding and also understanding the text. 

Kiwi Can

LI: To show respect to others when know one is looking
I learnt about (Accountability) At Kiwi can today. We talked about our topic and our theme and what those 3 things mean. Integrity means " Doing the right thing when no one is looking". Accountability means " Taking respontibility of your actions". During our kiwi can lesson we had planned something really fun and really respectful to follow. In our energizer and activity we had try and use Accountability witch is taking respontibility of your actions. Our Energizer was shark attack where theirs 4 hoola hoops but during the game Mrs lilly would take out hoola hoops and their will only be 2 or 1 hoola hoop if you get touched by the noodle stick you are OUT! I learnt i a lot during our kiwi can lesson but on our activity Hand soccer people wern't waiting patiencely and they weren't being honest.

Adding Fractions / Quarters

LI: To Add and subtract Fractions. LI: To Use paper for example

I learnt how to add and subtract fractions with quarters of paper strip. We had to make a video explaning how to add fractions together. I had 4 quaters of paper then i made a video explaining how to add it up.

Haiku Poem / Compulsary tasks

I learnt how to write haiku poem. We had wrote a poem about the circulatory system. We had make up an poem with in the numbers 5.7.5. We wrote our poem and also added photo's linked to the circulatory system. We showed Mr wong our poem and we only got 1 credit because a haiku poem is not really needed to be detailed.  We finished 1 compulsory task whitch was the Poem/Prose.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Maths/ Fractions

I learnt how to split up fractions using a ruler , pencil and a fraction sheet. We folded orgami paper into halves,Quaters and thirds. The paper was written shade in an half,so then we had to that. Also i used equiment to help make it perfectly and straight and the same size. "Fractions are the same size and shape".

Commeting / Fau's Kiwi sport blog post

Today i was checking out Fau's Kiwi sport about Rippa Rugby. She had Photo's to give examples on what we were playing. She Wrote a blurb explaining about defending the other team and trying to not get ripped. She had a nice blurb talking about Rippa rugby side stepping skills.

Kiwi Sport / Rippa Rugby

Today for Kiwi Sport we first started with rippa rush, during rippa rush we had to use the Skills Hamish taught us on our last session of Kiwi Sport, which was about side stepping. After that Hamish was talking to us about what we need to work on.Hamish numbered us in numbers no.1, no.2, no.3. After that we played a game sort of like ripper rush , but we had to get into 3 groups. No,3 was resting no,1-2 was playing on the court. 1 team on the court was defending and 1 team was running and trying to not get ripped from the team that was defending. When one of the players get to the orange cone uder the basketball hoop,We can't rip them off because we are gonna be offside. Some of us used our side stepping skills to help us be safe and not get ripped. 

Moari

Today for Moari We had Mrs Odie come into LS1 to teach us about martariki and the martariki song. Mrs Odie tought us a martariki song after that we talked about the southern cross and how to find it. We also talked little about the martariki stars. After that Mrs odie gave us a piece of paper full of moari words but it was a word find sheet that we had solve. When we finished we had show her then write the song on the bored to the back of sheet of paper. After that we had to watch a video Video/Video.

Kiwi Can

I learnt about communating with each other in Group A Kiwi can session. Today I made a D.L.O Talking about what we did in our Kiwi can session. We talked about integrity and being a good role model. I also lernt a word called (Accountability) Accountabillity means telling the truth or being being honest. We talked alot about that interesting word. I have never heared a word like that but i am gald that i have leared a word so interesting. Also Integrity means "doing the thing when no one is looking". Being a good rolemodel means "Taking respontabillity for yourslef and others". Good Quality Our activitie we played was Buddy Move! Also our Energizer was Copy me. After our Kiwi session we played a little GKQ/Master.

LI: to Self monitor understanding words and phrases.

I read a book called Why do our muscles get tired? We had to find words in the book or phrases we didn't under stand. I found 3 interesting words that i didn't know about. I learned the meaning by using a dictionary in the classroom or a dictionary online. We had a goggle document with words we didn't understand and words we might think we could understand. The google document was there to help us know what the word means. We had find facts in the book, one of my facts were "the reason why our muscles get tired because we might be excersieing to be skinny and not be fat or walking on a long bush walk" The other fact i had was When you use your muscles and energy to much you get tired and your legs and and the rest of your body part would be tired because you must have been trying your best to use your energy to achieve something really good. We record our facts in the book and the 3 new words we didn't know on fligrid.
