Kiwi Sport

Today for Kiwi sport we did rippa rugby. We had to line up and go under the basketball hoop and wait there to get our belts and our 2 green or 2 blue rippers on to the side of our belts. Then we did our warm witch was rippa rush. We hamash got us into 3 groups of 7 then we had line up into our groups. Hamash throwed the ball to the other team and then they had run and we had to try and get there rippers off their belts. If our team gets the rippers of the belts then that team has to pass on the ball till they get ripped. After that we each had 2 turns for each groups. After that we played another game that was simllar to the rippa rush game. But the thing is that rippa rush can be throwed forward but the game we played was the person your gonna pass to has to be at the back because your not allowed forward pass then we had to use our skills to try and not get ripped from the other team. We used our passing skills to try and get a score and we passed on so that people rip you off when you still have the ball. If you pass the ball before poeple rip instead of letting people score it be a little tricky because when your at the try line you can wait till they come close to you and ripp you off but they can't because you have already put the ball down.

Kiwi can

Today for Kiwi can we went up to room 6. Our theme for this week is being a good rolemodel and our topic for this week is intergrity. We had to remeber what we did  last week and talk about last week. We talked about being a good rolemodel and what intergrity means. Then we played our energizer witch was BANG! We had to stand in a circle. For this game we had to put our hands in a gun shape. There has to be someone in the middle saying random names and if that person said a random name the person in the middle has to bob down and the 2 shooters who ever says bang first is the winner and the person that says bang last is the loser! Hinemoa was the first to say my name and i was in between bella,Fau so if hinemoa says "Kaitlyn" I have bob dowm and try and see who was the first one to say bang. Then we played 2 or 3 rounds then we sat back down on the mat and talk about intergirty and being a good rolemodel. After we talked about that then we played our activity called fruity tooty . The fruits for this game was apple-to go forward,Orange- to go backwards,Banna - is to spin right or left,Grapes- to bob down.

Samoa Language Week- Google Drawing task

Today it was Vaiaso o Le Gagana week. We had to get into 4 groups with 2 LS2 people and 2 LS1 people. We had to pick witch task to talk about and do it. We had to creat a google drawing or a goggle slide to creat the task on. We did the samoa dances for our topic. We created a DLO about the siva dances and added photos and a breif descripition where the performence could be at. Angela was the person who has to go around and look other people's work for there topic.

Today i was commenting on Victoria's blog post about her 18 Sentences explanation. I Read her blurb and it actually sounded really good and her blurb explained why she did it and what what she talking about.

Kiwi Sport - Rippa Rugby

Today for kiwi sport we had rippa rugby Session. We had Hamash frazer come and teach us some good passing and throwing. First we had to put on our rippa belt and rippa tags on. We had to speard out all over the courts so the game we played was to rip someones tag of and stick back onto your belt the rules for this game was if someone tries to pull your tag off your not allowed push them out of the way or hold on to tags. Who ever has the most tags is the winner and has to give 2 to the other person that dosen't have tags. Then our next game was Ball rush but it actually called Rippa Rush. So the game is played like this, You have a ball the coach has to throw into one of the teams and they have to run with the ball until the the team who has the red bibz on rip 1 of their tags off. If you get a blue rippa tag of your belt then it was game over and we had swap teams. We had to pass the ball to each other so the person who already has the can pass it so he doesn't get ripped. If you go out of the cones then it the other teams ball. Then our other game was called Rats and rabbits. For this game you have to face your partner and be behind the yellow line and you partner has to be behind the white line. Then In order for you to be safe you have to run to yellow cone of Hamash says orange then your partner has to run and you have to try and pull of their tags off. Then after that if Hamash says yellow i have to run and my partner has to try and rip my rippa tag off,by running straight and running strait back. Then we had to put all our stuff away,Then we had to come line boy girl then say Thank Hamash we had to go back to to the class room.

Kiwi Can

Today for kiwi can. LS1 group A went down to room 7 to have our Kiwi can lesson. Our topic for Kiwi can is still intergrity. Intergrity means doing the right thing when no one is looking. and making better choices even when someone is looking. Our theme is being a good role model. Being a good role model is looking out for people like: Younger students,Family,friends,siblings Things like that can mean alot to you and you always been tought well from them. Our energizer was DOGGY DOGGY. Doggy doggy is played is when someone is blidfolded and a pen uderneath the chair. I rules for the game was your not allowed get the pen by sneaking through the side and if you get hit then your out i guess. Then our Activity was Who is missing? Who is missing is played when the whole class is on the floor closing their eyes and Mr matt will pick someone to leave and we all had to figure who was missing out of all of us. The person that was gone missing was RG. Then Lilitina got picked and went into room 6 and wonder who was missing?

Moari

Today for Moari we had to colour and draw in weathers of the day. We had to sing a song and then fireody would each give us a sheet of paper and go get a pencil and get colouring pencils. We had to write down the name of the weather and draw the picture on the sheet of paper then you go show Mrs fireody then she will tell you to go and colour in your pictures.

This week for Mr wongs writing group we had to write a planner about the earthworm's digestive system. First we had to watch a video and look at the earthworm's 7 processes. The 7 processes are Mouth,Pharynx,Esophagus,Crop,Gizzard,intestine,Anus. We had to write about that on the writing palnner and copy and paste onto the recount journey.

Whitch has more volume? - FlipGrid

For Mr wongs math groups we had to solve witch has more volume then they other. I did the cube,triangular perimid. We had to fill in the container with water and put the cube in and mark how much volume that has. Then i had to make a flipgrid and answer the questions and show the obejct.

Super sense - Concept Star - Keywords and Reminders

Today for reading we had to read a story called super sense. The super sense was about animals and how they use their super sense. I read about dolphins super sense,Dolphins super sense is hearing,Dolphins use their hearing to find their object under water or there prey. Then we had fill some information into the consept star. We had to read the whole story and answer the questions on the concept star and fill the boxes. After i read about dolphins i read about Dung beetles have their sensesitive sense of smell to find animals to eat. The dung beetles travel in a straight line and getting home as fastest as they can if there is no moon. Also i read a story about Dogs. Dogs have better sense of smell then then humans people use dogs to sense lots of stuff that humans can't  smell. Police's use dogs to sniff bagages for some evadince in the bags. All these animals gather all there sense to find different types of things like food,footsteps. I found something new about dogs,Humans smell pizza but dogs don't just smell pizza they also smell the different types of ingredients like the dough,sause,tomatos. Dogs smell lots of stuff then humans. I also had to read the story and find keywords and put it on he keywords and reminders.

Football Sccoer-Inter school

Yesterday was PBS Football/Soccer interschool. Everyone who signed up for soccer had to all be at school before 8:50. We all split up into different groups. One group was just the year 5/6 team. Then the seniors ( Yr 7/8 )  all had been either in PBS Red or PBS White. Whenever the year 7/8 people where playing a game then the year 5/6 people would rest and have some lunch and when the year 7/8 finishes their game the yr 5/6 people play. I was in the yr 5/6 team. We won 3 games. Our first game was against Pt england. We had 5 scores and they had 3. Our next game was against Panmure district they lost by 2 points. We had 4 they had 2. Then we had stonefields they won by 5 to 2. We played hard but sadly lost. Then we had St Pius X. We won by 3 nil. They had nil we had 3. we had a bye a bye is when you have a long as break. Then we tied against sylvia park we both had 1 to 1. After that we all hopped onto the bus and went back to school.\

For our Maths we had to talk about Capacity and measure different things with water. We had to use the Measuring cylinder to see how much it was held. Then after we had listed all the containers on our maths book and how much water it held then we had to go on flipGrid and make a video about Capcity with either 2 Equipment  or all of them.

For reading we had 3 Questions to answer or make a video about it. We had to talk about the nervous system and find books,Internet Text,Shool Journal book,Video. Our questions where What is a nerve? What do Nerves do? How do Nerves work? We either had to make a FlipGrid Video or a DLO on a slide. I did FlipGrid and wrote a Presentation to answer the three questions. We had to find books with Mr Wong,And Also asking him what our reading level is because our Internet text has to be at our reading level or else its might be to easy for other people.

Moari

Today for Moari we where talking about ourselves and our Family members. We had to create a google slide and right the heading in English or Moari And copy the baored what is says on there we had to add photo but we didn't have to.

Explanation

For Mr Wong's Writing groups we had to talk about Explanation. We had to remind people how to use Explanation in a sentences. We had to Make a DLO and write what we use in explanation and how we use it.

MRS GREN

LI: To learn what the 7 life processes of MRS GREN.
Today for Inquiry we had talk about the 7 life processes of living things. We had to talk about Movement,Reproduction,Sensitivity,Growth,Respiration,Excretion And Nutrition. We had to identify how movement is a living thing. We had to write a description of what they mean and add photo's. I was working with Charlize,Fau.

This week For our reading we had to talk about Healthy food. But the main thing we did is Finding what kind of information on the Article.  To right the piece of information we had to create a google slide and answer the 4 questions on the ls1 site.

Today we had Cybersmart. We had to pick one person and then Mr Wong can pick 2-3 people to comment on. Then we had to create a google slide comment on the 2-3 people Mr Wong picked for you. We had to Positive,Thoughtful,Helpful. We had to use that because people don't know if it a greeting or connection or Ending Greeting.

Kiwi Can

Today we had kiwi can. Our new topic for kiwi can is Making good choices. and the theme for this week is Integrity. Integrity means doing the right thing. It really good to the right thing because so you can stay out of trouble and be a good person. If you lie that's bad because you will get in really big trouble. That's why in kiwi can we wanna let other people know that its not good to lie . 

Maori Lessons.

Today we had Maori Lessons. Today we had an task to do. Our task was to sing this song and translate it into English. The words where Te Aroha-Love Te Whakapono-Faith Me te rangimarie-Peace Tatou tatou e- To all of us. We either had to use google translate or the Maori dictionary. Then we had to write that on a google doc and the title had to be waiata. Then we had to do Maori Feelings that Mrs Fire Ody told us to do. One of them where pouri,koa,aio,tuwiri,riri,pairiri. Those where some of the feeling words we had to translate into English we had to write this on a google sheets.
