LS1 Olympics games

Yesterday we had our minute to win it Olympic's games in the hall. We had to line up outside the hall and Mr Ogilvie Turn on some entrance music then we all walked in. We had to sit where our Team logo is and our whakatauki. The chair in front was the person that was starting  the first Activity. The First activity was Stack attack-Alisha was the first to be called out from his group to start Stack attack. Alisha was walking in and his theme song was playing to welcome him the first one to start Stack attack. He was buliding all the cups but then all fell down but the good thing he did was when all the cups fell he still carried on with the cups but then the time was finish. Ellenora was next for stack attack he theme song was on when she was walking in we st the timer and she started buliding the 7 bases then making a tower with the cups. Again all the cups fell but she still kept on going and carring on with the timer but unfortunately she didn't make it. Then all they others went but then it was miiana's turn her theme song came when was on her to start stack attack She build all the cups she made a tower then the timer was on 05 sec then she stacked all the cups and she came FIRST PLACE! 

Subtraction Strategies

For maths we had to do subtraction stragies. We had to duplicate the slide 3 and use 3 strategies. Our Strategies were : FIngers,change to addition,Number line.

(TNS) Commonwealth games

 LI: To make a DLO about what the commonwealth games are. In our groups we learnt that the commonwealth games are quite similar to the Olympics. We had to create a DLO ( Digital Learning object ). We had to answer 7 questions and put the answers on the DLO. We had to use LS1's print design rules. We also used the Template to put our work in those lines. We used text, and also photos. We aligned everything, did layout, composition, text and color. We all worked together to finish our work. Our Team did different questions. We all answered each question.

Kiwi Sport

Yesterday we did Kiwi Sport with Mr Ogilvie. We had to sit down on handball concrete. Mr Ogilvie was telling us the instructions on how to play,we didn't have any bases so then we used the cones. I had partner to pitch to , my partner was Charlize. I was batting she was pitching. 

Punctuation

LI: To make 4 posters and 4 Punctuation.
Today for Writing we were doing punctuation's. We had to Create 4 posters with 4 punctuation's on there. We had to write examples and write information also add photos to know what we are stalking about. I was working with Charlize for these 4 posters. 

Whakatauki

LI: To find out a Whakatauki for your team. Today we had to make a dlo and put our Motto on it, Emblem, and also mkae our own whakatauki in our groups. Our whakatauki is, "What makes you Happy? To never give up and try your best at everything.'. My group and I chose that because whenever we have something hard to do we could just try our best no matter if we loose.
