LI: to Self monitor understanding words and phrases.

I read a book called Why do our muscles get tired? We had to find words in the book or phrases we didn't under stand. I found 3 interesting words that i didn't know about. I learned the meaning by using a dictionary in the classroom or a dictionary online. We had a goggle document with words we didn't understand and words we might think we could understand. The google document was there to help us know what the word means. We had find facts in the book, one of my facts were "the reason why our muscles get tired because we might be excersieing to be skinny and not be fat or walking on a long bush walk" The other fact i had was When you use your muscles and energy to much you get tired and your legs and and the rest of your body part would be tired because you must have been trying your best to use your energy to achieve something really good. We record our facts in the book and the 3 new words we didn't know on fligrid.

Structure and Language of a Narrative

I learnt what an structure of a narritive was and i know what the  language of a narritive is. The structure of a narritive is TOPES. T-Title,O-Orientaion,P-Problem,E-Events and S-Soulution. We had to creat a D.L.O for this. We had to remind people what Language features and Sturcture do we use in a Narrative. I put some reminding on my D.L.O and we use on a narritive.

Kiwi Sport

Today for Kiwi sport we had rippa rugby with Hamsh Frazer. We had to line up under the basketball hoop and then Coach hamsh said to get our belts and line up on the court after we got into 2 teams. 1 group had to get a blue ripper. Then a 2nd groups had to get green rippers. After that we played a game to include our passing and not bunching together because the other team might catch the ball and score. We needed to spread out inorder for us to get ther ball and pass it to our team and they can score. then lined upin to numbers and find a partner to run with to try and rip our ripper off.

Maori

Today for Maori we had mrs fireody come into our class and teach some moari songs and moari actions. We had talk about Martariki and sing a song and name all of the martariki stars. We had to watched 4 videos about the martariki stars. We had to go on youtube and look and watch the videos quitely and read about it.

Kiwi Can.

Today for Kiwi can we went up to room 7. Our theme for this week is Intergrity and our topic for this week is Being good rolemodel. We had to remeber what we did  last week and talk about last week. We talked about being a good rolemodel and what intergrity means. We had to stand in circle we played this game with only using 1 hand and 2 balls. We had to open our legs and stand in a circle then we had to hit the ball and try and get through under other peoples legs. the rules for this game was if the ball is coming to and its nearly coming under your legs your not allowed cloes your legs. We had 2 rouds of the game the game was so fun and cool. Then we sat back down on mat into our 4 ines then we talked about Being a good rolemodel and why you have to be a good role model. After we talked about that we wnet straight into our Activity called Silent one. We had to get splited into 4 groups.

Cybersmart - Shopping online or in person

Today for cybersmart we did Online shopping and what it feels like shopping online. We also did where else can you buy stuff and what internet site we get from. We had fill lots of answers on the box then we had to talk with group to make sure that you might buy and its not worth the money. If you go and by the things in person you can see the full picture and what it looks like but when your buying it online you might get scammed and you might waste all your money on thing thats not even worth it.

Writing

Today we had to write an explanation about the venus fly trap. We had to use Mr wongs planner to help give us an example of the venus fly trap. We had to do 3 paragraphs because we only need to explain the steps on how a venus fly trap Traps insects inside the mouth.
