Activity 1: Persistent Pollution [4 points]

On your blog, share three new things that you learned about air pollution from this video.

In our local area, Some air polutions come from natural sources. Such as Volcanic eruptions fire or Alligens. Most of the causes in our air polutions causes from "Human activities". There are so many different types of human made air polutions. 

Activity 3: Crazy, Cool Clouds [5 points]

In this picture the *shape* i see is a bunny. In this picture the bunny is showed up in the sky "AMAZING RIGHT" This really amzing and cool clouds. This picture one i am explaining on what shape i see. In the sky their could awesome stuff that you could see not just clouds. One time me and friends saw an side arrow pointing up in the sky, it was just like a arrow.

Activity 2: The Seven Sisters [4 points]

There was once an adventurous young man called Mitai, who lived with his seven brothers in the viliage of Maketu. Mitai was the youngest brother. He has been raised by his koroua the great tohunga Te Rawhara' from whom he had learnt much magic. Mitai could change, form into a bird and eavesdrop on his brothers conversation. He could soar as an albatross into the sky with the god of wind, Tawhirimatea.

This story is a short story about the Seven sisters (half of the story) I didn't write the story because it said write a summary and under the story write what is about. Their can be keywords getting found in the story. The story i have read a coupple of times. The story is very interesting, I have been enjoying doigng all the SLJ activities.

Going to swimming pool | Saturday

Hey guys!, I wanted to write something about my holiday at the pools with my dad.

Me and my dad went to the Mangere pools we live right around it maybe 2 minutes away from the pool. We had arrived at the pools, i hopped in the water it was cold but we will get use to it when we swim for a while. I needed to put sunscreen on first so then i did. I first dipped my feet in the water it  was pretty chilly. I started to swim around not my whole body because i was still scared getting really cold, then i actually dipped my whole self and swam under the water. Then I told my dad to hop in because it wouldn't be that fun. My dad hoppen in i told my dad the things i got taught at swimming lessons (term 3) I told my dad i could float on my back, and dog pettle and other stuff. Then we played something similar to tag but its just chasing each other in pools and going under the water and grabbing their leg. Then i decided to go on the water slide. I grabbed a mat, i waited line for my turn to be up next then i waited for a while i slide down it was pretty cool, I didn't get to make friends the whole time at the pools because i was a bit shy, Then i went the second time down the slide, and it wasn't a really good turn out through out it.

Then i put the mat aside and went and swam with my dad then i started to feel bored so i went to the pool right nextstore more space and also bigger not that much people so we went and swam at the pool. I had so much fun did tricks and swimmed and then my dad met someone from someone along his family so they talked i was just swimming around under the water, I had fun then we had to leave because it was getting packed. So that was my story going to pools with my dad.

I have read her blogpost it was very interesting she had good and similar ideas. She had made an big start by having herself having ago at something really fun and cool.

DAY 4: Like a Scene Out of a Movie

For this activity, you are to write a short acrostic word poem about the beautiful lights.

L - Lights shine beautiful colours on Christmas night

I - Ice cream on a hot day, on Christmas day

G - Green grass playing outside on Christmas

H - Happy new years with colourful lights

T - Time to celebrate with a sprinkle of lights actions

S - Spend time with family friends enjoying the beautiful lights

I have written a poem, using the word Lights. I had to be as creative as i can and my poem was based on Christmas but using the words lights. I really enjoy doing these kind of activities, because i like writing poem in my own time, poems don't have to rime but its fun to read. Christmas is one of my best times of the year. Expecially Happy new years!.

Activity 3: Wind Beneath My Wings [10 points]

For this activity i had to pick an animal and write good facts about the animal. I picked a carnivore animal witch was a snake (meat eaters) I had to create a DLO and write about the animal i had a site that gave me informations more about snakes then actually knowing about it. Doing this activity was really fun because its actually good knowing facts about everything (good things). I have held a snake before , on my trip to Australia with my mum is was black mamba his name was monti. DLO for good quality

Activity 2: Flying Foxes [4 points]

if i could have a superpower, what would it be? If I could choose, I would choose to be invisible. I would like to be invisible because i would like to go around the night and steal some food without getting caught, also i would like do whatever i want even if i wanted too.

DAY 3: Taking Flight

For this activity i have to pick a native bird and talk about , Where it lives and what it eats. I had to go on  Bird of the Year website and pick one of my native bird that i would have and treat like what. I have chosen one of my interest native bird, it called the (Black Robin). I wouldn't like my bird to eat solid food so much as human do. Lets name our native bird ..... Hhmm ! I got one (Dominico).

Dominco my native Black Robin bird would love in a cage but, will also have a clean and healthyest place he will every live. (Where would you get the cage from, with what money) I would have create raffle or and concert for people to donate as much money. Then at the end of the show i would collect and count the amount of i money i have made.

Dominco would eat (Newton's Seeds), I wouldn't want Dominico to eat bread or other kinds of soft stuff because i don't trust what it would do to them!. I will also Buy a packet treat so when he does something to empress me i would give him a TREAT!.

Activity 2: Carbon Sinks Don’t Stink! [4 points]

Let’s imagine that you could design a sink that could gather up and then drain away any foods that you don’t like. On your blog, tell us what you would put in your special sink.

I would put it:

1. Onion

2. Broccoli

3. Tomatos

4.  Prawns

5. brussel sprouts

I got asked to list as many food i don't like if i had a special sink to put disliked foods of mines. I wish i actually had a special sink! It will be fun to have one, I wouldn't really do this in the future because thats just wasting food what if people around the world don't get what we have. So its always good to have left overs, for people who don't have stuff like we do.

Activity 3: Flying Fungi [10 points]

Let’s imagine that we tested the air in your classroom and found 7 different kinds of mould. Eek! The cleaner says that it takes 5 days for each mould to be eradicated (removed). If the school had to remove each mould one at a time, how long would it take to remove all the mould from the classroom?

I would multiplie 7 by 5. We would need to times 5 x 7 , 5 x 7 = 35 right. So that is the final answer for this maths problem. The answer for the problem can definitely be 35 because you can time the 7 kind of the mould that possibly be on that wall. Also times it by the 5 weeks to eradicated (remove) the mould.

In the middle of winter it gets really chilly (cold) and we start to often see our walls,falls,ceilings and other scenarios start to get damp. Our walls slightly start to get wet and soft. Its also like common things like to grow like mould and fungi. Mould and fungi would like to to grow on anything but would likely grow more on ceililings when it gets damp (wet and soft).

DAY 2: The Air Up There

The word ‘bumblebee’ is a compound word (bumble + bee). The word ‘bumble’ means to - Act or move.

Bumblebees can fly very quickly. They can reach ground speeds of  24.14  kilometres per hour (km/h).

Bumblebees are very strong! They carry up to 90 percent of their body weight in food with them to avoid starvation.

Bumblebees can do more work and carry more pollen than other bees, including honeybees. In fact, they can do up to 50 times as much work as a normal honeybee.

The number of bumblebees
is declining in New Zealand due to a number of factors, including the removal of wildflowers and flowering trees, habitat loss, and extensive use of pesticides.

Activity 3: Burning Up… [15 points]

I have completed my third activity for (Week Three) I was supposed to make graph of cities that have strong temperature. I have made an hand drawn graph because chose to do it because i didn't want to do everything digital. So the photo above my (Blurb) I have chosen 4 cities in New zealand with the highest tempreatures, the highest one was 21 degrees that was in 'Wellington'. The rest was less, I would like to learn more cities in new zealand because its good to know more about where live. I had so much fun doing this hand drawn

I have listed the 5 things to protect our body during this summer. I have highlightes some words in a dark black because, Protect was the main explanation i was told to list. These are the most important things we need to follow when the sun is around because we don't want us people to sun burned (right) i don't.....So i will make sure to follow these rules at all times.

DAY 1: A Heated Debate

It would be a pleasure and fabulous welcoming for tourists to come travle and visit around the world. The tourists people can discover the places,companies or countries that they have been discovering about, The tourists people should not just discover amazing and cool things, They should take notes of the cool things they saw so thats a bit of exploring stuff. Might' not be fun thing but it might stuff from back in the days, Some people don't even know what back then so its a good fact to find out what happed then and comparing it to the now days. (1. fact) Back in the days people use to use clippers to store their cash so it wasn't very easy for them because, it can easly fall and now days (2019) people use wallets, theirs different kinds of wallets we can all get. Thats the fact i have learned from my incredible teacher (Mr Wong) during maths. Maths can really be hard for me but the more i try the more i get too understand as much thing i learn about. But yea' it a really a pleasure for tourists to come visit countries they either (haven't heard before) or a (Course)!

I am finally completing my first activity for Week three! I haven't been time active inorder for me to get to the other days i have been busy so i have much time for me to get to other activities! This activity really gave me a lot of explanation because i have used words that i haven't really used in so much of my blogposts. This activity told to me to post on my blog what time of the year should tourists come and visist in NZ and what should they do while they are in NZ.
